Jessica sits as an advisory board member for non-profit organization THREAD.

THREAD describes their vision as:

 T H R E A D strives to address and alleviate the unrelenting presence of trauma in our world. Through our arts centered and therapeutic work, we foster connection and healing within people and communities by transforming individual and collective trauma into original works of art. We serve adult communities affected by trauma both event-based and systemic. Our work serves the needs of survivors of abuse, those struggling with addiction and mental health, cancer survivors and veterans. We also implement programs to address the urgent needs of communities affected by gun violence, natural disasters and other crisis scenarios.
